I booked a tour for my husband and I on our wedding day on Marie Laveau's birthday and we really enjoyed it! We went around to cemeteries and we also got to learn about the history of New Orleans and we got to make our dolls in Marie Laveau's house! I feel like making the dolls in the Vodou Queen's home was a once in a lifetime experience and it truly a surreal experience (in all the best ways!). Bloody Mary really helped make our special day memorable and that much more special!

If you want to be freaked out this is the place to go. Voodoo haunted museum downstairs and self-guided access to the apartment upstairs where a murder took place. I won’t spoil it but there are documentaries. It was super creepy and you “feel”everything inside that apartment.

My husband and I went to the museum today and it was awesome! So many cool things to look at. I loved that it was a self guided tour so you can go at your own pace and look at everything. I’ve always been sensitive to energy and the seance room was the heaviest. It was hard to breathe in there. I was hesitant to go upstairs to the apartment because we kept hearing what sounded like coins being dropped on a dresser. I finally got the courage to go up there and the kitchen had a very sad remorseful energy to it. I also kept sensing the presence of a young boy in the upstairs bedroom. I would love to do a private ghost hunt here! 5+ star rating!

me, my mom, and my sister in summer of 2024, sometime in july, came here when we visited from british columbia, canada, and this place truly opened my eyes that spirits, ghosts, not alive apparitions do exist. the minute we entered the museum, my dad and brother immediately backed out of there because it was 'too spooky', but in reality, they felt something we didnt. as soon as we paid, we went next door through the court yard out back, and decided to go inside to the apartment building upstairs. my mom described it as 'feeling like when we put jasper down'. jasper was our family dog who sadly passed, but when my mom described it, she said it felt like she cried to much that she couldnt breathe. my sister and i agreed, and this was before we knew the murder-suicide story. it was immediate when we entered the living room and we couldnt stay up there long. while my mom was doing the tarot card reading, my sister and i sat outside, reading the stories of the many spirits and how they got there, and Zack and Addie were the ones that caught our eye. my sister and i finally had the courage to go back inside and say our grace and apologies for addie. may they both rest, despite of what zack did. thank you, Bloody Mary, for welcoming us to the best thing ive ever seen in my whole life, it was absolutely amazing and will come back again! 🙂

We had a phenomenal experience at Bloody Mary’s! I called Bloody Mary to ask about her offerings for my sister’s bachelorette party and I’m so glad that I did! The planning process was seamless, prices totally reasonable, and we had the most amazing evening participating in a voodoo ceremony, ghost hunt, and tour of the city. Bloody Mary was reassuring about changes in the weather and flexible (she moved our walking tour to a van tour when it started raining and dropped us off at dinner!) Bloody Mary was welcoming, informative, attentive not only to the bride but of the full group in answering questions and including everyone in each part of the evening. She’s a grounding presence! The museum is full of interesting items, the ghost hunt was a phenomenal experience, and the tour was so interesting and informative. And the store is full of amazing items at great prices. Don’t miss the chance to stop by Bloody Mary’s on your trip to NoLa

This was fantastic. I was excited to go and it was so much more than I anticipated. Learned many things at the seance. I was trying to reach granda, who came through for Mary was definitely my Oma. After that was a paranormal experience. Unbelievable! I have been to Zak Baggens haunted museum in Vegas, it was great but this was like that magnified 10 times over. Thank you Bloody Mary for the memorable experience ever. I'll be back, my sister wants to come next time.

Unforgettable experience. I did the self-guided tour and also joined the Sinners, Saints & Secrets tour with Mary, and she truly made it. She’s engaging, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. Felt like getting the inside story of the city rather than a typical tour. Highly recommend her specifically if you want something memorable. Check out her haunted attic. She has a side you can shop in with dolls and other items. Will be back!

If you're looking for a company retreat activity that's actually memorable, book a private experience with Bloody Mary. We had the entire haunted museum to ourselves — a private tour, and a voodoo doll creation ceremony that she led us through where everyone on the team got involved. We blessed our company aggregate spirit's doll in her private courtyard, and she also did individual tarot readings for each person. It was perfectly visceral in the best way and genuinely brought us closer together in a way that karaoke or trivia night never could. And this was for a group of almost 20 people — she handled it beautifully. We also did a shrimp boil with her chef, which was delicious — next time I'd request to eat outside in the courtyard rather than indoors, because the space is beautiful. The artifacts throughout the museum all carry protection spells, so you don't have to worry about anything following you out. What really stood out was how personal the experience felt. We mentioned the night before that someone on the team had a birthday, and Mary had a cake ready for them. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. If you want something niche, visceral, and genuinely special in New Orleans, this is it.

My friends and I came on friday at around 430. We had a really good time and looked around saw the different dolls and coffins and artifacts. All really cool! When I went upstairs I started getting that feeling like we were not alone, not in a horrible way but enough to make me nervous. My legs also felt heavy and my friends felt like there chests were a little tight. I also decided to shove my head in the crawl space area up there to see what's in there. Felt something touch my foot but it could have been my own imagination since I was scared. Over all a fun thrilling time and when I looked through my photos that I was gunna post to facebook I caught some weird fog looking thing behind my friend at the museum. Still not sure what it could be but It sure is weird!

I went to Mary because I had an overwhelming feeling to go there knowing of her reputation in the community of New Orleans. I was lost and needed guidance she provided absolute excellence and everything I needed. She even knew things I had forgotten and things that I did not know at all. She is the real deal and 100% worth every dime spent.

I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal and I figured that New Orleans would be the perfect spot to cross ghost hunting off my bucket list. This was my first trip to NOLA, I booked a Ghost Town Tour/Ghost Hunting Experience with Bloody Mary, and I am beyond grateful that I did. We were picked up at the Haunted Museum and Mary drove us all over NOLA and shared a wealth of information about the city, its history, legends, and the many spirits that still linger there. Mary answered all of my questions and I truly learned so much from her. The entire experience was incredible, but my favorite part was coming back to the museum and conducting a ghost hunt. I was fortunate enough to have an interaction with a spirit, that, if I wasn’t already a believer, definitely would’ve made me one! Mary went above and beyond to make this experience as special as possible for me, and her expertise, passion, and respect for the paranormal and her guests are evident in her words and actions. I went on this 3.5-hour tour alone (because the rest of my party chickened out), but I felt safe with Mary and learned so much in such a short time. If I ever have the opportunity to visit NOLA again, I’d definitely book another tour/experience here and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting NOLA looking to learn more about the paranormal (and maybe have a few ghostly interactions of their own!)

Mary went above and beyond for my small group. Made the best of the situation when one was not feeling well and then some. Luckily, I got a tour of one of the cemeteries that's normally closed to public by happenstance and her family card. Made sure to show me the things I've wanted to see for years and was able to visit my favorite authors' resting place. She did a lovely blessing for my upcoming marriage. And in her museum, there definitely was someone making sure to let me know they were there and understood my past, if didn't know the happenings exactly but what I felt I understand. Mary was one of the best parts of our visit to Nola!

My group of 4 booked a seance and ghost hunt at Bloody Mary's this past weekend. There were about 12 customers in total for that night, including us. The seance was relatively quick. If you want to attempt a thorough communication, I would recommend booking a private seance. The real fun was the ghost hunt! We were taken to an upstairs apartment that had been vacant for some time, which Mary used to house her haunted doll collection. The group was split in two and one group investigated the doll room, while the other group investigated the kitchen/bathroom, then we switched. We were given several different kinds of ghost hunting equipment to experiment with. Without spoiling anything, I will say that i absolutely felt multiple presences during my visit. We had a couple of professional ghost hunters in our group who brought their own equipment, and they also reported positive experiences. Mary is a wonderful story teller with a great sense of humor. If you're looking to have some spooky fun in New Orleans, book some time at her haunted museum and come with an open mind!

My wife and I did the self-guided tour about 2 days ago, and while we were in the apartment, I felt a very heavy feeling in the bedroom area where the dolls are. When we got back to our hotel, I decided to look at the picture of the room more closely to see if I could find any weird anomalies. If you look at the picture of the mirror, there seems to be a faded image of a girl on the right area of the mirror frame. I played around a little bit with the contrast function on my phone to try and make it clearer.. Does this look like a girl's face to anyone else? The more I looked at it, the more it became evident to me that it is a girl's face.

We booked a seance with Bloody Mary while we were visiting New Orleans for the first time and it was a wonderful experience! Whether you're a believer or not, this is a fun activity and Mary is a phenomenal storyteller as she takes you through paranormal experience and gives a detailed history of the Haunted Museum. The shop is also well stocked with unique and beautiful pieces which make much better gifts than the kitschy souvenirs you see everywhere else. If/when we come back, we will visit again!

I went here today for my last day in New Orleans and I honestly felt like it was more haunted than the 2 cemeteries I toured last night. Upstairs felt the most haunted. I got a cold chill as soon as I started climbing the stairs and felt like someone was right behind me. It sort of felt malevolent. But like there was definitely something there.

We came here on a Tuesday and it wasn’t busy at all but when we got there the tours were ended but the owner agreed to let us in for 30 minutes. The upstairs of the museum was where we felt the most energy. Once I stepped into the bedroom and looked at the small crawl space with the door open I felt an overwhelming anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach. Then my energy turned towards the blonde doll in the room that is supposedly the most haunted. Once we were done in that room we made our way to the kitchen however I felt the most uncomfortable in the bathroom. For some reason I felt captivated to take my phone out and take a selfie in the mirror, I normally wouldn’t do this as I felt it was rude to be taking a selfie in a place with that kind of history however I felt drawn to it. The creepiest part of it all is we did take a picture in the bathroom and noticed our faces look very strange and unrecognizable to us. My eyes look different and my boyfriend’s face looks very angry and distorted. While I decided to look up a photo of addie hall I noticed in the photo my eyes look like hers… what do you think?

Bloody Mary thank you for the tour and the ghost hunt experience. I didn't talk much but I've been a fan for a long time. To see your house in person ( episode of Ghost Adventures)and the shop/apartment was amazing (paranormal lockdown) was amazing. Then watching the orbs fly towards me in the videos blew my mind. I knew there was a reason I needed to climb in that little space. Thank you and next time we will work out to ensure we close the door correctly 🤣. Also, you're driving around not walking incur you're like us and spend the aft explore New Orleans.

I wasn’t super impressed when I walked into the shop. I went in knowing nothing about the place. No reviews. Just raw. Without giving away anything, Mary would be easily one of the best tour guides in the city. It doesn’t matter what your title you would try to attach to her name. She has a connection to the city period. Mary was lovely, and made sure everyone was comfortable. I will come see her anytime we visit. Like a walking history library….

The upstairs apartment is the most haunted energy I’ve ever felt in a haunted place. We got to the museum 30 minutes before they closed, so the lovely gentleman that worked the shop didn’t have the opportunity to tell us anything about the apartment upstairs, so we just went and toured on our own with the guided voice of Bloody Mary, and we did a pretty quick run around of downstairs. Didn’t find anything weird. When we finally went to go upstairs and open the door to the upstairs, my husband, who is a non-believer in any kind of ghosts or spirits, had an awful reaction, And refused to go upstairs. After a couple minutes of convincing him, we went up the stairs and right when we got to the top of the stairs, the teddy bear ghost hunting device (we later learned) went off as if someone or something was talking to it. We ran back downstairs to the shop to talk to the gentleman, we were terrified. He then explained its a ghost hunting device that helps to communicate with spirits of children. We asked if it is normal for it to go off like that, and he said it uses moving sensors but wouldn’t answer us if it’s weird lol. So I think we came at the right time, because the spirits up there were very active. We then decided to be brave and go up there one last time. So we climbed up the stairs and went to the doll room first. My husband refused to go in, but I went inside and stood in the middle for a photo. All I could do was nervously laugh in the room. I didn’t feel that scared but more of an adrenaline rush in my body and a playful mindset. One of the child spirits was definitely trying to communicate. The bear would not stop talking while I was in there. I tried to look at the different dolls around to feel where the energy would be coming from, but honestly, the little crawlspace was starting to give me a weird vibe so I had to leave. We then made our way to the kitchen. My husband once again refused to go in the kitchen, so I decided to peek my head around and take a look inside, I looked at the oven the refrigerator and immediately I had to turn around and leave because I did not like the energy coming from the kitchen at all. I couldn’t even go in fully. I could just tell that there was something weird about that space. When we went back downstairs to exit, I had a lot of questions for the gentleman working. He then proceeded to tell us about the death in that apartment the couple that lived there. Because we were rushing through the museum in 30 minutes we didn’t get to the tape about the upstairs apartment or see any of the information on the walls before we went in the apartment. Hearing the story and then reading about it after the fact it makes sense why the kitchen gave us such bad vibes. I definitely want to go back and get a reading there and do a séance. The voodoo magic that bloody Mary has put on her museum and haunted apartment really brings the energy of the ghosts alive like I’ve never experienced before in my life.

Also had my first Ouija session which was wild. VERY spooky at points but very cool. 10/10 would recommend

Bloody Mary is a great resource for anyone wanting to learn more about the history of New Orleans. We learned so much during our time spent with her. And we also learned the true stories of many of the hauntings in that city. We toured many of the famous places, and took part in paranormal investigations that revealed amazing evidence of spirits that were present. I highly recommend any and all of the tours and seances offered by this legendary Voodoo Queen. We actually made our own Voodoo dolls, and had them blessed in a ritual ceremony that was unforgettable. I loved every minute of it, and I hope to visit Bloody Mary again soon.

My best friend and I were very fortunate enough to have a seance and ghost experience during my first visit to New Orleans. When Bloody Mary brought forth my grandmother, I had no recollection of the way BloodyMary described my Grandma. When I got home, I asked my Dad about it…and he knew right away what I was talking about and referred to a photo that was floating around somewhere in our family. I got a hold of this photo and sent it to Bloody Mary right away!!! Bloody Mary will NOT disappoint you at all! I will definitely come back again when I get to New Orleans!

I recently visited Bloody Mary's Haunted Museum and I have to say, it was an incredibly unique and fun experience! We went during the day to the voodoo shop and walked through the self guided museum. The museum is fairly priced and offers a great selection of options in the shop. What really impressed me was the interesting history of the exhibits, which was well-documented and told through a great audio tour. The storytelling was engaging and really brought the history to life. The museum is definitely a must-see for anyone interested in the paranormal or New Orleans history. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and the effort that went into creating such a captivating and educational experience. The spirits were still resting from their night of partying and play, so they did not show themselves to us, but we could feel their energy in the upstairs haunted apartment. Everything was tastefully done and there was no evil or negative energy. We also had a lot of fun with the Psychic Tests that are offered in the courtyard (which was beautiful btw). Overall, I would highly recommend Bloody Mary's Haunted Museum to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind adventure!

Really enjoyed going to this museum! Wish we had discovered it earlier so we could have gone on one of the tours. We did do the museum tour. Went upstairs without realizing the history. Once I got to the room at the top of the stairs I was so dizzy I started to fall and had to sit down. Had different physical sensations all throughout. Spent a lot of time taking in everything and then headed to the shop. Would love to return next time I'm in town!

My husband and I have visited this haunted attraction twice now. The first time we attended the ghost hunt in the apartment, our guide was I believe his name is Michael Bill. It was an astounding experience with a mass amount of activity. When asked to go into the doll room, we were to differentiate which one's we believed to be the most haunted of them all. Without any clues, I guessed correctly. At the time they were Jody & Annabelle. There were many orbs caught on film. The activity we got outside of the dollroom seemed to come mostly from Addie (pardon my spelling if it is wrong). We used downsing rods, a ghost box and the tablet that processed the spirits as stick figures. The mini piano in the doll room began to play& when panning the tablet over the area, a small child sized stick figure was seen playing the piano. Also, a stick figure seemed to be dancing in open space outside of the dollroom& the ghost box stated "dance". Apparently Addie enjoyed dancing, so it was suggested to be her. The second time we went I received a bone reading. It was pretty incredible. The reader stated many accurate facts, however I am still searching to find the name of the woman relative's name that is said to watch over me. The reader said something about me having 3 children. I already had 2 at the time. Although my husband and I did not plan to have any more children, some months later I found out I was pregnant with our 3rd child together, he was born 01/01/23.

First of all, it was the best tour I've been on! Authentic and true! Mambo Mary is the real deal and the tour is worth the travel to New Orleans and and every dime! Check it out, learn, and explore!!

Bloody Mary’s Haunted Museum is truly one of my favorite places to visit when in New Orleans and I always stop by when I’m in town. The front of the property is a Voodoo shop which is a great place to buy magical items and spooky souvenirs. The building is over 200 years old and the artifacts within the museum reflect this long history. Items on display include everything from things from the Old Charity Hospital, occult items, ghost hunting equipment, and even creepy dolls. It’s a must visit if you enjoy history, mystery, and the paranormal!

Bloody Mary’s tours are the best! I’ve been on many of her tours. She is a walking history icon of New Orleans! Bloody Mary’s haunted museum is definitely haunted. It’s a must see! Spooky, engaging, cool! My group loved it! I’ve also been on Bloody Mary’s V.I.P. Driving tour at night. As someone who has been on world wide paranormal tours, I will say, Bloody Mary is the best! Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous 2 hour experience on the tour we walked around the city and learned about the true history that is behind this beautiful place! We learned so much that we never knew. Gina was a great tour guide and didn’t sugarcoat the facts! The ghost hunt at the museum was pretty cool! We were able to connect with the other side! We definitely had a good time.

My boyfriend and I had our version of a "date night" at Bloody Mary's Tours. We did a private ghost hunt & supernatural French Quarter tour with Michael Bill and had an absolute blast! We also toured the haunted museum and had psychic readings that were incredibly insightful and spot on. I saw Bloody Mary on a couple of episodes of Ghost Adventures and was looking forward to meeting her but unfortunately, she wasn't in that day. We still had an amazing time with Michael Bill and definitely look forward to doing it again during our next visit to NOLA.

Gina led my group of five on the Tour of the Dead. She was very knowledgeable, entertaining and has a great sense of humor. All of this made the cold Saturday night enjoyable. Gina covered many topics from history, ghost stories and the difference between Voodoo and Hoodoo. I also took several interesting photographs of unexplained balls of light hovering around the group...I totally credit Gina!

Gina did an amazing job taking us to each location and giving us the perspective of a New Orleans local. Not only did she clarify the local legends from fact she also shared some of her own personal knowledge and experiences with us. If you want an insight of the real hauntings of New Orleans this is the tour for you. As far as the ghost hunting experience it truly was unique and spooky. Even my husband who can be a bit of a skeptic had his own unique experience without any equipment or trying to have an experience. If you are a fan of the paranormal and want to have a paranormal experience this is the tour for you. I will be coming back to this tour any time I come to New Orleans.

*note: went on a tour in 2013" Our first and favorite tour guide!!!! We signed up for the ghost tour which started at the countries oldest bar in nola, Lafitte's. Gina, sweetest local from NOLA who loves pink, was our tour guide for the day. She knew where to get the best poboys, prime's cup, sazerac, etc. We tried a lot poboys and booze, nothing beats the one she recommended. BLOODY MARY's TOUR: They are small specialty company (3-4 people voodoo/hoodoo priestess) who are voodoo mambo's. TOUR: I felt a lil awkward at first, there were 3-4 couples who were in their 40-60s. She said most of the young crowds usually sign up for the booze tour. To be honest age didn't matter. The walking tour all over bourbon street was fun and intimate, she even told us where the cleanest toilets were. We got to stop by some of the bars she recommended to get their famous drinks. She even gave us a sniff of the love potion she got from the pharmacy museum. The tour is very intimate and informative. Unlike the other popular tour I went on, this was an experience I knew I wouldn't get from reading a wikipedia. Gina: We loved her! She was super friendly and laid back. Even days after the tour she came by to say hi to us when we ran into her twice.

Great Tour. We went with a big group and had a blast on the pub crawl. Our guide was very witty and knowledgeable of the area ghosts.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Gina (I believe her name was) was our guide and she was amazing. We were the only two on the tour who couldn't reschedule so fortunately for us, it felt a little more personal and relaxed, but still fun. We also moved pretty fast which was kind of nice. I'm convinced our guide is immortal, and based on how knowledgeable she is (and how much she really knew about so many of those buried in the cemeteries we toured), I wouldn't be surprised to find out she's been alive for hundreds of years. We love the voodoo dolls we made, and if you can get a reading, do it. One of the best parts of our trip for sure!!

If you visit New Orleans, you definitely want Blood Mary as your tour guide. She is not only extremely informative but funny and charming. She also knows a lot of stuff other tour guides don't. I feel really sorry for people who take tours with other guides. They have no idea what they're missing!

We went in two different tours from Bloody Mary's. The first night was with Bloody Mary herself, and let me tell ya...she KNOWS New Orleans! Haunted sites, cryptids, Voodoo & Hoodoo...she can tell you stories that make you quake. And ahe is so personable...you'll adore her! Gina did our second night's tour, and she is as funny as she is knowledgeable! She told us all about town, and then let us ghost hunt with equipment. So Fun! I love both these women! They were AMAZING! We got to go to the museum & shop during the day also, and its GREAT! This is a must see/do while in NOLA!!

Mary was so gracious with her time and her knowledge. She has a love of the city that is completely infectious, and the beauty with which she honors the dead was lovely to behold. I feel very blessed to have met her, and more to have been on a graveyard tour with her. If you come to New Orleans, make visiting her museum and a graveyard tour a priority.

Just love Mary to pieces and always appreciate her warm welcome into her museum, home and tours. So happy to see Michael Bill there too. Was really cool when he showed us this echo-type box that captured voice. Nice selection in the gift shop as well.
